If you’d like the power of FME server without heavy hardware investment, FME Cloud is for you. With unlimited engines, automated backups and rapid prototyping FME Cloud has all the functionality of its server-based counterpart.

Bear in mind that FME works best when it’s closer to your data sources. When data is hosted on-prem, or you have special configuration/formatting needs, FME Server may be the better tool for you.
